You're disingenuously implying Harris/Walz would have solved healthcare.
People have had enough of status quo and slow progress.
No, you're disingenuously putting words in my mouth that are in your own head. What I'm saying, implying, intimating or suggesting is exactly this and no more: a presidential term with Kamala Harris would have been better than another with Donald "Believe me, I'm not boning you up the ass" Trump. And that was enough reason to vote for her.
Her half a loaf approach to politics delivered us Trump. Excusing and accepting incrementalism when it has fundementally failed makes you part of the in problem.
We wouldn't be in the situation if not for the half a loaf politics of the previous 4 decades of Democrats and the half a loaf politics of Democrats is empowered by them being on the other side of supposed "strategic voting" like you just described. Hint: it's not good strategy if it doesn't result in the outcomes you want. It's not harm reduction if it ends up in more harm.
No, PEOPLE delivered us Trump. Not politicians.
“I can’t believe you didn’t do a good enough job convincing me to go with a better option” is a disingenuous attitude that removes intentful culpability from voters.
It's certainly both the lack of progressive policies, that are popular and address the material needs of working Americans, and the lack of messaging on that front. Regardless of how much you personally assign the blame to voters, it is ultimately on the campaign to earn votes. And the Democratic Campaign certainly failed in that respect
