'Wait what is that' is a bigfin squid, they live in the deep and are hard to find because of that. That's just a juvenile, that's why it's not that big.

According to the link, they're thought to get about 26ft, or 8m, with their arms included. Their actual bodies are incredibly small, however.

Somebody who actually knows what they’re talking about can correct me here, but I’m pretty sure those are the tentacles, with the grabby things on the end- and in the foreground… because it was annoyed at the sub/rov. (And may have punched it.)

(“grabby things” is a highly technical term.)
