Context for the 2nd bullet point is that he claimed he "wasn't close to 80" when he's 78 and he said "Energy is so big. It's so like amorphous. It's all over the place. If you make donuts, it's a stove"

wow, he looks like he is physically failing as well.

That's a crazy clip, I had to find it.

The guy standing next to him on stage glances at the lady on stage like "uh oh, what the fuck is happening"

How does he not have a makeup artist on staff to make him look at least slightly less fucked up? It's weird that they've actually normalized his hair lately but can't seem to get the weird bronzer over all of his face.

If it were revealed that he's actually an AI-driven hologram at this point, I wouldn't be even slightly surprised.

there's probably only one or two wranglers he allows nearly enough to paint him or he throws some kind of crazy fit.

he might really be losing it, fingers crossed.

The cringe is palpable. These might be bigots but even then I feel sorry for whoever has to be next to such a clusterfuck in person. For a moment. The I remember these people want to elect him and I feel better about their suffering. May it open their fucking eyes.

That's gracious of you.

I'm leaning at a right angle toward schadenfreude, watching a redneck at a barbecue who's been pouring gasoline on his charcoal briquettes for the past 8 years about to spark his lighter.

He doesn’t look good. Had someone in Cardiology yesterday, out of nowhere, shoot a frown at me and whisper, what do you think about the way trump is looking?

Like if you lifted his pants legs, my 7 is there’s bilateral pitting edema under there. Kind of like watching Nimoy in those final roles, seeing the COPD across that barrel chest, and wondering how far out of frame the oxygen tank actually is. It’s morbid to some, I’m sure, and that’s fair, but I am worried.

I’m convinced that the makeup is the same, he’s just become that much paler beneath the makeup.

but I am worried.

About what? An open and unashamed fascist dying in old age??

Oh, no, the unimaginable tragedy!!!11 🙄

[–] [email protected] 6 points 17 hours ago

At base I’m not happy about anyone’s medical misfortunes, self inflicted or otherwise.

You could also read it as his health is worrisome. You could also read it as his base’s reaction would be worrisome.

Don’t assume puppies and rainbows. Remember Scalia.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 day ago

I would be worried about a more competent and less blatant fascist taking his place

Trump dying now would be an unthinkable tragedy. He would forever be a martyr and we would never be rid of MAGA. FFS, there would be Trump statues everywhere. Oh, and think about all the conspiracies involving liberals killing him.

He has to live through this election and lose ignominiously. Then he has my permission to die.

my 7 is there’s

Is this a phrase I should know or a typo?

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife 1 points 8 hours ago

What's in the box?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Roll dice and place a bet. Highest probability roll is what?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 hours ago

I understand now, but this is the first and only time I've ever heard it. I wouldn't expect most people to catch your meaning.

[–] EtherWhack 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I think they were trying to hit a predicted word (likely "bet") above the "7" on their keyboard.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 23 hours ago (3 children)

Woah. Do people actually use the predictive text suggestions when typing?

[–] ThePantser 6 points 22 hours ago

I do if it's the right work, or I've misspelled it, it's easier to hit that than edit.

[–] someguy3 2 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

Yes I do but I'm going back in to work tomorrow morning so I'm not going for it until tomorrow and then I can get the joke

*Brought to you by predictive text, starting with yes.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 17 hours ago

No. I talk with that phrase, refer to the 7 of a situation.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

what the actual fuck did I just watch

[–] [email protected] 5 points 22 hours ago

Something amorphous talking about donuts.
