Who cares? They're dead. And we're using the people that we were fighting for as an agent of genocide against Palestinians. Nothing is sacred.
Don't mistake this as an argument for Trump in some way. In my opinion he should be strung up, but I don't respect the rich using the masses as cannon-fodder either.
When I die, I won't have any thoughts on the matter either way. I bet you the dead in those pictures don't either. This is the result of unabashed "patriotic" brainwashing that people have been steeped in since forever.
ok your thesis is who cares, they’re dead. The cemetery is not for the deceased, it’s for the living. It’s a living monument. People, alive people, go there to grieve their recently deceased loved ones, and as it calcifies through time it is a testament to the number of people who sacrificed their lives even in one exceptionally specific way. For the living that you claim to care about.
Republicans tend to, which in this case could help cement a nasty loss for him via voter apathy
Good point. I usually look at this from the lens of "holy fucking shit nobody will shut up about him and I'm seriously overloaded" -- This, I think might be better framing :D
Who cares about genocide victims? They're dead.
