I'm 25 now. My friends are either 18-19 or 45-60 with nothing in between. It's been like this my whole life.

I have friends my age and I have friends that are up to 15 years older than me. I am 37. Mostly teammates from my hockey team. That's how friends work, typically. You share common interests and then exchange phone numbers. Soon you are kissing in the shower after a game. That's what friends are for.
