This is a good place to link to the QAA podcast with an ep about a book about the people harmed by Qanon, as in family of believers. It's pretty sad, but there's one story of redemption. Maybe Bert should listen.
I wonder if it would help to push the idea that if you admit you're wrong about something, then you're no longer wrong about it.
Maybe past you was an idiot, but current you can be wise!
