The Uncommitted movement was about his support of the genocide, not his age.
Yep. And the primaries are a great time to do just that.
But Biden didn't drop out because of the uncommitted movement.
No, the people with money were afraid he could not win, letting a significantly worse candidate win.
Maybe, but that's because the rest of us did think he was to old. One doesn't invalidate the other.
The people who pulled the money felt he was likely to fail because of his age, or rather, the affects of it on his performance. If he had been killing it, he would still be in. However they didn't pull their money because of him arming a genocidal regime, which is the issue that the comment I was replying to, was saying.
Fair enough.
Let them have fun voting for her then, because she does nothing for us
Preventing the collapse of the country isn't good enough for you idiots?
In 2020 I knew Biden was a Zionist, a racist, a warmonger and his issues page was anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian. But I was told Trump will be worse, so I begrudgingly voted for him and got a genocide.
The same playbook cannot work again for Kamala Harris and I don’t think I am the only one who feels this way.
You may want to prevent some imagined unicorn scenario that is unrealistic. I want to prevent this actual hell on Earth that Biden is enabling. Watch the doctor's interview with CBS or just the short segment I just linked to, then tell me again about voting for someone who supports "Israel's right to defend itself" and doesn't think there should be conditions on it.
Hallmarks of an internet troll - a user which makes no meaningful contributions, or engages meaningfully with any other topics other than political agitation. In this case we have pages and pages of history revolving around using Gaza as a cudgel against Democrats, and literally nothing else.
Curious that they only moderate a bunch of Arab magazines and a single Huawei mag. That's completely random and not weirdly specific at all I'm sure.
Ad hominem. Also I forgot all about [email protected], believe it or not it is a tech company and their phones are quite popular in the Middle East and North Africa. Also it is kind of dehumanizing that Huawei to you is worse than children being sniped or bombed.
Fallacy fallacy, it's sus as fuck you run a bunch of political mags and just so happen to also have a Huawei magazine, big fan of the company I guess?
Ad hominem. If you aren't going to watch this and develop a better understanding of what the Democratic Party has enabled so be it.
But understand that the people you despise and dehumanize the most can still swing the election, perhaps treating them as humans is a good first step. Instead our anger is demonized too.
You know, I could keep quiet and just not vote for Biden or Harris. I am the idiot who is wasting his time on people who don't even see us as humans. You do realize this makes it even harder for the Democratic Party in future elections?
It's weird that you're treating "Arab American population" as a monolithic vote that you presume will vote the way you want.
Also, you know Biden isn't running right?
Now show us the Republican response to the genocide.
We'll wait while you don't bother to.
So you're seriously just going to ignore responding? Lol shill
You are a complete and total idiot if you follow this person's ideas, and your choice to vote Third Party or stay home will only increase the chance that you and people you supposedly care about will be fed to the Republican meat grinders, and then you'll have no more worry about Democrats because you'll be in jail or just plain dead.
That's what you'll be enabling. Project 2025, who views Muslims as little more than animals, will be fast-tracked. If you think that's the smart play, you are a fucking moron and deserve everything you have coming to you.
PS: Dems aren't guilty of what this guy's insinuating here. That's 100% on Republicans.
PPS: This is the kind of BS that Russians and Republicans are injecting into our discussions on a day to day basis. While I won't violate Rule 3 and outright call him a bot or shill, I WILL point out to everyone else that this is the bullshit that Team Putin and Team Pepe use to divide Democrats and suppress the vote.
PPS: I agree with @nomous that it's weird, if not ridiculous, that this guy thinks he has a lock on the Arab American psyche. Our whole purpose here is to remind everyone on the Left coalition that come next January, either Kamala Harris will start her first term as POTUS and MAYBE slow-roll more bombs and missiles to Israel so that Egypt, Syria, and others don't try to finish what they started in the '60s, or Trump, who will supply Israel with all the bombs and missiles he can while outlawing Muslims and forcing Christianity down their throats here in the USA via Project 2025. If you're stupid enough to prefer 4 years of Project 2025 to whatever you think Harris will be guilty of, you deserve what you're gonna get, sideways, without lube. And I think that makes you an idiot and a moron like the guy I'm replying to. Make the smart play and don't listen to this fool.
Ad hominem. I am not sure why you think personal attacks are the way to win but good luck.
I never did say that, but the poll data suggests I am not the only one who has abandoned the Democratic Party. I posted poll data before -in previous comments on some other thread- by two different Arab American pollsters. One from November showing a drop from 59% to 17% for Biden support, and another from May putting Biden at 7% and Trump at 1%.
I read posts by Arab Americans who were more enthusiastic about Biden in 2020 and how abandoned and depressed they feel now. You could look them up. Here's one: ‘The man broke my heart’: Biden’s Arab-American boosters begin to leave his side
As opposed to Biden and the Democratic Party who are slaughtering them in Gaza out of love?
Most Arab Americans are Christian anyways.
Why are you threatening me with my kink? How did you know?
I am not sure what you mean by this. Biden is already sending them tons of bombs. FYI Israel started the 1967 war and it was never a defensive war.
I sense a deep hatred towards Arabs combined with bad history and ignorance. This is more of a reason to not associate with you or your party.
I am using data and citing everything I write. Meanwhile you dish out insults left and right as if they come in a BOGO bundle.
Final Edit: I brought this upon myself. The correct course of action is to keep to myself and not engage. So god willing this will be the last time I reply to any post about Harris or 2024 elections. I trust the poll data and the opinion articles by Arab Americans more involved then I am. You though can enjoy dehumanizing us to your heart's desire, nothing will fundamentally change.
"I don't like what happened therefore the other option must have been better" is the kind of logic I'd expect from a two year old.
The other option for me was voting third party. I swore off Republicans in 2004 when I voted for Kerry and never looked back.
Getting a viable candidate that will spurn israel is not something that is going to happen any time soon. This will require a major cultural shift in the US, and that isn't gonna happen easily. This is the sickening state of reality, life is cheap, and most people do not give a fuck.
Honestly, if it's a choice between me and some people I don't know half a world away, I'm picking me. That goes twice when the choices are:
I'll pick the gal every single fucking time.
