I think its more about being behind Lewis. If there is one driver who Max won't tolerate being wheel to wheel is Lewis. He is happy to fight Leclerc.

He got shafted on the strategy by Red Bull, they should have done a better job at calling the pitstop and avoid getting undercut..

I think it’s more that he doesn’t like when the other driver doesn’t just yield and let him pass. Lewis is one of a few drivers (Also Norris in Austria) that will fight hard with Verstappen, even giving him a taste of his own medicine sometimes.

It felt more like complete frustration of a strategy that he said would be terrible before the race even started. Then it turned out to be terrible, then your team argues for the terrible strategy.

Max is hot heated, but why add fuel to that fire? Those radio responses, great way to get an angrier racing driver.

Even in this race some drivers got heated, then their racing engineer calmed them down. E.g. "yeah you made your point, now let's focus on the race" or something.

I don't even think he was shafted on strategy particularly. He went much longer, was able to put the faster mediums on for a shorter period at the end and should have finished 3rd if he wasn't so busy being an angry, stroppy child.

Come on, mate. That's some BS. Lewis is one the greats of F1 and Max has a lot of respect for him. Max being the competitor he is, will never accept being outperformed by him, he defeated Lewis to take his championship and now he has to defend it from Lewis.

Max very well knows, the only driver(s) (with car to their liking) that can challenge him (for a full season) are Hamilton and Alonso.

Yeah, you're right, that was bullshit from me. Sorry.

Wow, imagine this conversation happening on Reddit.

On Reddit, you'd all be dogpiled, then permabanned for racism and misogyny.

Almost true except that Verstappen doesn’t have respect for anyone, and he shows clearly every time he doesn’t have a missile under his car but he has to fight.
