Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered

I have done some researches but couldn't find any evidence that they did that so far.
Yep, adguard is a bit shady, besides it was founded as a Russian company. The fact that they do SSL interception also raises a few extra concerns.

It does, but there's no other way to effectively block ads on Android AFAIK.
Generally, without MITM you can only filter at the client side, which needs support of every client app you use, which realistically means they could do a Firefox for Android plugin and that's pretty much it.
That is only if you use it on a phone as it kinda runs like a VPN, right? They can’t do this stuff if you only use their DNS
