Also, just to toot my own horn, I felt pretty proud of that last one. I initially was like "how the heck do you casually drop Fenrir or David in a sentence" but... It's not nearly as elegant as Chance.

I did actually make a in-person friend doing exactly that once.
Depending on your sexual culture and relationship status, tongue-in-cheek can be a great way to make friends

Yeah, I mean it's easier to do online since generally I move in fairly sex-positive circles. With my in-person friend it was because I misheard what she said. I thought she mentioned that she'd ordered dildos and whatnot from a particular book store and I was like "wait, they have dildos??" We'd only met like a couple hours earlier, but we've been good friends ever since. π
