[RESOLVED] The plastic cylinder in my soap dispenser is loose and the soap no longer pumps. What's the best way to fix this? Super glue didn't hold.

EDIT: I ended up using epoxy. Thank you for the help.
it looks the plastic part is attached to an outer wooden section?
Could you pop that out and replace it with a new pump?
This may be one of the better options if epoxy or something else doesn't work. I think a larger hardware store would have these.
