We know how to drill holes in the US too. That's why Musk doesn't sell his tunnels to people who know what they are doing, but to morons on City Council who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

yeah, any european country near the alps can help - or ask someone with experience in building subways. no need for toxic sludge there.

Don't ask Sweden, Hallandsås tunnel (8.7km) took 23 years and a lot of dead cows to complete. Turned out that the sealant Rhoca-Gil wasn't compatible with livestock.
