I appreciate that the NSFW posts are blurred, that helps a lot. But sometimes somebody else is looking, so it is possible to filter out NSFW posts completely? Thanks I love this app :D

Not complaining by any means--wefwef is becoming my favorite way to access lemmy on my Android phone--just curious if any of the rest of you are seeing this a lot? I'm on lemmy.world, so it's entirely possible there are load issues, but I was just curious.

When viewing a new post it always defaults comment section sort to ‘Hot’. Please add an option to default to ‘Top’ comment sort.

First of sorry if you see a similar deleted post (I accidently delted that post thing it was solved).

I noticed when I make a post if I post an image using say imgur (or the default uploader) wefwef will use the in internal image viewer as expected. However in the commetns it falls back to opening images in new tabs.

Unfortunately this leads to images somtimes being over enlarged on devices like ipads and in the case of imgur specifically, redirection to their mobile site which doesn't allow enlarging images (for phones mostly).

For image uploads currently I'm heavily relying on imgur (mostly since lemmy's image uploader is hit/miss due to server load).

A problem with wefwef opening images externally is in the case of imgur the image redirects to their main website which has ads and is harder to enlarge the image (even if you use it on ipad it frequently over zooms into the image).

I was wondering if instead images in markdown syntax could default using the internal wefwef image viewer similar to title

Why are certain communities showing previews and some not? Is this wefwef being picky about url format or an instance setting?

On Apollo you could tap the area just below the FaceID sensor and it would zip you straight back to the top of whatever you were scrolling. This would be useful to have again!

I just keep doing them backwards from muscle memory. Would prefer customizable options.

Currently when I click a picture on a post, while I have set my posts setting to compact, It shows up find. But when I try to go back via Android navigation, the picture stays open, but the page behind go back. It's the same issue with replying to users. The reply textbox appears and if I try to go back, the textbox stays on screen, but the underlying page go back.

Coming from the Reddit official app, one of my ingrained gestures is swiping to exit a post and return back to the main page. Getting up to the top corner of my screen to press the “Back” button is a little annoying, so I’d like the option to disable the “swipe to vote” functionality and get “swipe to exit” instead.

Is there any way we can dim the titles of read posts just like in Apollo? At the moment it’s hard to tell if a post has been read.

No, I don’t want to hide read posts.

Right now there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to save images on your feed. This would be great to have.

wefwef is an awesome web app, but the (imo) relatively generic app icon doesn’t reach the same level of polish as the rest of the beautiful app. Any chance we get a more custom and unique icon?

On the lemmy.world website, the link is rendered as an image instead of a link. Could this be implemented, or at least something like what Apollo did, the link with a preview below it that you could click to enlarge?

Hey there, loving the app! I've noticed that anytime I tap a blurred image to show it, my feed will jump down past the image, without showing it. If I scroll back up and tap again it will show and behavior returns to normal for that image. This happens once for each NSFW image on my feed.

I'm assuming this is a bug, or am I doing something weird?

Bonus question: is it possible to access your account settings via the app? I can't seem to find the option. Thanks!

Being able to skip up or down to previous or next parent comment without collapsing etc would really help navigating large threads.

on apollo iirc you could only choose between 2 sizes which were both fairly small
