After my harvest, I had a shit load of larf and trim. As we all know, when life gives you shitty larfy plants you bubble that shit and get high.

The only problem is that now I have a bunch of grade A full melt hash and no way to smoke it. I don't dab, I don't vape, so I'm stuck rolling super joints that get you higher than the Apollo 11. Looking for a hash pipe- a real one that won't just melt your hash down the pipe- returns exactly one result. It's fine but not what I'm looking for. I think I'm going to craft one, I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway, hash! Love it? Never tried it? I'm sure nobody hates it but if you're a chronic contrarian tell me about how wrong I am!

I'm a relative newbie to this.. started growing last year, have infused some coconut oil and ghee, have tried a few different gummy recipes and buy gummies as well.

The gummies and other things that I make at home have a moderate to strong earthy flavor while what I buy is quite mild. How do I work on reducing that earthiness? Is it a function of how concentrated my oil is, or is there a processing technique to remove the smell from the oil before I cook with it? My concentrations so far have been in the 75-90 mg/Tbsp range making me use 2 Tbsp of coconut oil in a batch of gummies to get 5 mg per gummy.

Any suggestions?

I have a couple 100mg edibles that I'd preferably like to have in fifths, but since brownies are crumbly and have different consistencies, I'm not sure the best method to ensure each part has a similar dose.

I'm think maybe just crumble it all into a more homogeneous pile and then weight it, and then portion based on weight, but I'm not sure

Lost a bunch of my buds to bud rot :( I don't even know how much more of the plant is affected. Even some of the buds that are not discolored seem to be turning mushy. If you have ideas on how to proceed please let me know. Alterntively I am willing to accept your pity

This is the best weed I've ever grown, hands down. Look at it, for crying out loud. I smoke 10 joints a day, my tolerance is outrageous, and I've got the giggles right now like I was 15 again. It's not even dry all the way, let alone cured, and it's amazing. It tastes good, it's not even harsh.

If you're on the fence about growing, do it. If you're on the fence about taking the party outside... DO IT. The sun is something like 1300W/m^2, and it's yours for free. You can just bring the sun home with you. Try getting 1300W/m^2 in your tent, you're going to be fighting heat for your whole cycle. Even you hydro guys should be getting in on this, maybe get a less shitty greenhouse than I did though.

All my compost comes out of my yard and kitchen, and I mostly water with rainwater. I grew this for basically seed cost. If you've been following my grow, you'll know that I didn't do everything right and I had some struggles. I learned a lot this year and I expect next year's harvest to be bigger and bolder.

I've also never trimmed this well, and I'm never doing it again. Don't say I never did anything for you.

Hello fellow tree enthusiasts, specifically my concentrate comrades,

Over the past decade, I've collected a number of different nectar collectors and similar implements. I have a number of Lookah Seahorse models, a titanium nail, and a few off-brand devices that serve more or less the same function.

I see that Yocan now has the DYNO, which looks like a seahorse clone w/ different bodywork. Perhaps it's Yocan's Mazda to Lookah's Ford? Does anyone have any experience with this device? Devices will eventually break and I'm always curious what else is out there.

If it makes a difference, the preference is for large dabs, huge clouds and cleaning is a frequent and burdensome task, so I would love to have a device that heats up well even when there's a little gunk inside.

I was just wondering what the vest edibles are for motivation/creativity. Im trying to get back into drawing, Sometimes I snag a gummy that just gets me drawing for a while, but its a 1/50 chance. I really want a pack of em so that motivation is constant.

EDIT: DO NOT SUGGEST ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT MARIJUANA EDIBLES.

I have ADHD, so motivation is something I mentally lack. Do not tell me to make my own weed, and please don't suggest anything horrendously strong. Im not a pot head, I have a weak tolerance and I refuse to push that tolerance. Thanks.

One of my plants got damaged in high winds so I chopped it yesterday. I'd give you a Bizzle for scale but I can't fit both of us in the frame 🙄 I'd reckon she's about 5 feet high, though, and I'm about 6 feet, so imagine I'm standing next to it but it's so massive and bushy that you can only see my feet and a few inches of calf. I have tremendous calves, I walk a lot and I never skip leg day, so feel free to let your imagination run wild.

You may notice the root ball at the top. The reason is, I left it in a plastic nursery pot since January. I know that sucks, but the roots were coming through the holes so densely that I couldn't remove it without damaging them and I got scared. Next year, I'm going to use a paper pot so it breaks down in the soil and I wont have to worry about it. I think that would mitigate a lot of the problems I had.

My whole house smells like weed, which I think is sweet. Mrs Bizzle, on the other hand, is paranoid as fuck that she's going to smell like it at work (she's a middle school teacher).

(previously)

Hey, it’s been a while! Finally chopped my manifold girl today, this is the last known photo of her alive.

I decided to finish this one in the greenhouse and of course I ended up with a bad whitefly problem. I was able to knock them out with a couple rounds of spinosad and then a week later she was ready to move on.

I decided to do a bud wash (procedure here) to get rid of the dead bugs and whatnot, she’s hanging up to dry now.

The other 2 plants are already dried, I started curing them today. 71g in the jars so far and I’m about 20-25% done. Those gals had the fly problem too so they got the same treatment and wash.

I’m interested to see how the wash affects the final cured buds, anybody here ever try that?

Almost 4 weeks on, and afraid this wasn't as feminized as advertised. Please tell me I'm wrong

I don't know what day I'm on because I never pay attention to that sort of thing but this strain goes for 8 weeks so I'm prob going to harvest in early October.

In 2022, the federal government reported that, in samples seized by the Drug Enforcement Administration, average levels of tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC—the psychoactive compound in weed that makes you feel high—had more than tripled compared with 25 years earlier, from 5 to 16 percent. That may understate how strong weed has gotten. Walk into any dispensary in the country, legal or not, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a single product advertising such a low THC level. Most strains claim to be at least 20 to 30 percent THC by weight; concentrated weed products designed for vaping can be labeled as up to 90 percent.

The high that most adult weed smokers remember from their teenage years is most likely one produced by “mids,” as in, middle-tier weed. In the pre-legalization era, unless you had a connection with access to top-shelf strains such as Purple Haze and Sour Diesel, you probably had to settle for mids (or, one step down, “reggie,” as in regular weed) most of the time. Today, mids are hard to come by.

The simplest explanation for this is that the casual smokers who pine for the mids and reggies of their youth aren’t the industry’s top customers. Serious stoners are. According to research by Jonathan P. Caulkins, a public-policy professor at Carnegie Mellon, people who report smoking more than 25 times a month make up about a third of marijuana users but account for about two-thirds of all marijuana consumption. Such regular users tend to develop a high tolerance, and their tastes drive the industry’s cultivation decisions.

I’m having that joint now and it put itself out about halfway through. The joint knew I had enough. It put itself out for me. Wow. Nature is so cool. [7]

I've been growing this same phenotype of sugar cane for a year and a half now. I just can't give it up!

It's a complete frost monster and a pretty good producer. The last plant was over a half pound! Just about 1g per watt!

Grown in 5 gallon DWC hydro

Might be moving to a Prohibition State soon :(
I'm hoping one of my neighbors will keep this pheno alive!
