I took this picture walking back to my car after picking up breakfast burritos from a local mom and pop place. They make amazing green chili!!

First track day is next Friday, getting ready just in case.

My son did most of the work and will be my engineer, pit crew, and copilot. If he was older he could drive too but we have to wait a few years for that.

I get the thumbnail sucks, give it a go anyway. They're doing every step of rebuilding an engine block.

And for those down voting, why? I'm trying to help wake this sub up and without comments I don't know why folks here don't like the content.

1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, a recent addition to my collection.

221 inches bumper to bumper, 425ci Cadillac big block V8 fuelled by a standard Rochester Quadrajet and coupled to a TH400 3 speed auto. Floats like a cloud.

Makes me want to build a trophy truck!

I had a 2007 GTI, and it is tied for 1st place for my favorite car I have ever owned. That said, what I've picked up from the interwebs is that VW is not longer making quality vehicles, for a number of reasons. Would love some opinions!

Context for the inexperienced: these are cone seat GM lugnuts, the cone portion is supposed to face IN towards the wheel as they are self centering, not OUT... guy didn't know wtf he was doin

The previous owner had swapped in some crappy single-tone horn for some reason and the wiring was pretty sketchy. Went in to fix the wiring and decided to upgrade the horn along the way.

Ferrari does red better than anyone else in my opinion!

I noticed that everytime I go to a mechanic or someone new gets in my car, the bluetooth autoconnects to their phone. How can I restrict access?

I tried to look it up but could only find how to turn bluetooth off completely.

Along the same lines, does anyone happen to know how to restrict my phone from auto connecting to various cars? I thought they had to ask.

My car is a 2019 Nissan Rogue and my phone is a Pixel 8 with Android 14.
