I suppose you and I are very different from the majority of youtube watching folks, because I feel like 90% of thumbnails (and titles) tell me to fuck off, in the sense that they're sensationalist and clickbait'y. And why do so many feature a picture of the host acting like he/she is attempting to entertain a 5 year old?
Youtube is for the children.
The guy smiling, showing what he will talk about with the names of the technologies and an overall evaluation of which is “better” is that clickbaity to you? Come on.
Unfortunately such is the ways of YouTube. The actual video is pretty interesting and the channel itself goes into a lot of math explaining why and how regarding the topics.
Also, as thumbnails go, this one isn't really that bad
