It's sad how many docile idiots remained on Reddit and Twitter after last year.

It's literally starting its FIFTIETH season of political satire being a significant part of the show. Are you not smart enough to factor genre into what you watch? Do you think it makes you look like you have a reasonable thought process when you expect a show to suddenly diverge from its decades-long format?

No. Valve tried to force arbitration, which is strongly anti-consumer. When an action was brought against them an actual arbitrator ruled that it was more fair to let a lawsuit happen. With this precedent set, there's no longer any point for Valve's terms of service to mention arbitration. This is not a consumer friendly move, this was Valve/"Gaben" trying to fuck consumers and losing.

Right, meaning that it's pointless and costly for them to have a terms of service that directs people to arbitration, hence this change to their terms of service.

No, not really. Valve was sued and (ironically) the arbitrator decided against the validity of the forced arbitration and let the lawsuit happen. If they could still get away with forced arbitration, they wouldn't have made this change.

There should be no middleman, period. You used to be able to buy a game and play it fully offline without a launcher. And you could sell it used when you were finished. Steam normalized digital "ownership" taking away those rights.

Hooray for criminals, who stimulate progress towards protection from criminals. Kings.

People complained when they tried to take the series in a direction of giving more context, depth, and worldbuilding to the aliens and engineers. So now they've gone back to just giving us yet another familiar movie from the same template of people running away from aliens, with same old tropes and callbacks.
