Sir, that’s a can.

This might come across as a silly question, but I literally see no option when editing a Community to change moderators. Only that I can leave the mod team.

Hello all!

Curious to know if anyone out there knows how to run two lemmy instances on one server? I installed using Ansible and it seems it's only possible to have one. I can dive in to all of the config files and probably get it to work that way, but I feel like it's going to break something when I end up dating the future.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide!

But at the end of the day all his volunteers just want the power, so they caved. Yeah, maybe they got annoyed, but not enough to do anything about it.

Users on the other hand..

Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose though? I would regenerate each OTP “string”, for lack of a better way to say it, rather than bringing them over as Google already has that data.

It’s like they are taking advice out of Musk’s playbook on how to blow away money.

On behalf of all Canadians: I’m sorry!

Children. They’re children. Let’s not call these childish little bastards “men”!

Thanks for actually taking the time to read and comment. Sadly this community seems a little barren for now.

He isn’t complaining luckily, but I couldn’t help but to notice he’s approaching the older end of the typical child there. I think it was more feeling guilty about not being able to afford something “nicer”. You do have a fair point though that it does provide a lot of things which is way better than just staying home while I work and playing on a device or watching TV.

Thanks for the reassurance :)

I’ve been going to homeinstance.tld/c/[email protected] and subscribing that way.

I swear there has to be a better way though..

Maybe everything that’s been generated has actually occurred or will at some point!

Hello all,

Not sure how active this is as I’m still adjusting to Lemmy, but here goes.

I’m wondering if anyone is in a similar situation as me and what you’re doing and feelings.

I have two kids (7 and 5) that are currently on summer break from school but I have them enrolled in the summer program for their before and after school care. I didn’t see a problem with this initially but I’ve seen other parents complaining when I’ve gone to pick up my kids that they don’t really do anything with them. I’m sure my youngest is perfectly fine just playing with toys all day but I worry about the older one.

Part of my guilt comes from wishing I could afford to put them in a better program but I’m effectively a single income so it’s hard. I know they’re treated fine there and not concerned for their safety but I just feel like such a crappy parent.

What do other families on a budget do to get by?
