A friend and I were just talking about this. Didn't they establish the character was a hostage negotiator? That would expand the possibilities...
I love this song...
I often post screenings in here. You can also keep an eye on this website: https://www.in70mm.com/now_showing/
I completely agree. I've seen it 50-ish times (twice this year in 70mm) and it always dazzles me.
(And thanks for de-lurking and being the first to leave a comment!) 👍
Thank you for bringing up the shopping cart litmus test. I had conceptualized something similar before encountering the idea online. I've always grabbed a shopping cart from the parking lot on the way in, and will often pull carts out of parking spaces and return them before I leave. I was delighted to discover r/CartNarcs, needless to say!
Just my luck: I re-watched this about three weeks ago. A week later I noticed that a local rep house is running a 4K restoration of it on their big screen.
American greed and gluttony can be quite astonishing sometimes.
"...make up 80% of new car sales in the U.S." #yikes
My default comment sort was 'old' as well. I'm continuing to discover OS/browser variability: On my Android phone, Firefox-based browser (Mull) has no comments, but chrome-based (Kiwi) does. Under MacOS, all browsers except Arc display comments properly. On Manjaro linux, firefox no, chrome-based yes.
[edit] Changed sort on Arc Browser under MacOS and, indeed, comments now appear--but I was unable to edit this there. Had to open Vivaldi. Odd.
Not remotely the same thing! 😂
