When I upgraded my SSD in my old 64gb model to just a 256gb, I had to reinstall all my games from scratch, including D4. Nothing would work otherwise that I had on my old SD card. After that I had no problems. When I get back from a concert this evening I can look and see what version of proton my D4 is running so that I can say with certainty that it is working and let you know

I haven't got the mask yet but since I mainly run arc warlock at the moment I'll have to redouble my efforts to try and obtain it. Other than lost sectors, does it drop from any other loot pool?

Well it was kind of a bumpy road. Originally it was going to work like a spell caster with focus points and a pool of abilities that shifted level to level, which was kind of so-so and felt underpowered compared to just going with a regular spell caster. Moving to the gather/blast/impulse system opened up it's utility 10 fold! And the class makes you feel useful wether you master one aspect or stretch out to majoring in several others. The hardest part in my opinion was finding an acceptable balance across the elements we ended up with because we initially started with only 4 on the table (the classics) but tried expanding to I think 10 or 12 at some point? Those were some confusing days.

With the book hitting people's hands and shelves soon, im proud of the work we put in, and the whole Paizo team, to bring what'd I would say is one of the coolest modules and expansions to date for the PF2 system.

And to follow back to your original question, my favorite thing is an impulse called Rolling Boulder. It's fairly simple but I find nothing is funnier or scary than a giant Boulder hurling at a foe.

Anyone excited for the new Rage of the Elements module dropping in a couple weeks? I've been helping one of the authors doing playtesting for the last year and it's going to be awesome!!

I agree, this was a very hard read to understand. Author's thoughts were bouncing around everywhere almost as if they had been up all night falling into a content hole of Threads. Their insta feed must be pretty horrific if that's what Threads was feeding them

I highly recommend one. And it's currently on sale! I originally got the base 64gb one but then spent 18$ on a 256gb nvme drive and upgraded it. Cheaper than buying the 256gb direct.

It's way more than just an emulator for me too. I've been playing a ton of triple a games like diablo 4 on it, I even used it as a desktop replacement for a bit while I was moving and it did fantastic

As long as Dobbins and Gus can stay healthy, it'll be just as strong as the last few years. I have a feeling we're still going to be running more than people think despite the news of Monkin and the passing game revamp.

I mainly used it to play emulated ps1 titles and a ton of Jrpgs. Star ocean 1 remake and star ocean 2, tales of phantasia, castlevania SOTN, xenigears, the list goes on. Even had a really good snes emulate I was able to sneak on there somehow and was a great portable snes machine.....just like my steam deck is now. How things change yet stay the same.

Just did mine tonight. Just shy of 10y by maybe a week, been getting ready for the switch for weeks. Browsed right up to the end, deleted, and no looking back
