Same with something like Cruelty Squad. Feels like an assault on your eyes at first but it's amazing how quick you can get used to it making it feel "normal".
When I first got the retrotink and finally managed to connect my ps2 again to my TV (still using composite) I was so disappointed that small text was too blurry to read, making games unplayable. That was until the component cables fixed it all.
Yep. AV (the rectangular connector that kinda looks like HDMI) goes into the ps2, component (green, blue and red) + audio (white and red) go into the retrotink and then HDMI between the retrotink and the TV. That's the setup I have atm. In my case, my cable doesn't even have composite (yellow) plug at all, but it shouldn't be needed.
There's probably cheaper alternatives to the retrotink 2x pro out there. The retrotink is pretty expensive because it's a very niche product and a very small operation, almost a mom-and-pop business.
Genuinely curious: what made you think that? The iMac itself doesn't really strike me as a "simplified" computer, but I might be missing something.
Have a Retrotink 2x and can confirm that it works with the PS2, however the image quality improved dramatically when I switched from composite to component cables (still connected to the Retrotink). Don't expect any miracles, tho (it's SD after all).
You might enjoy games like star realms instead: it's a self contained game (like regular board games) so you buy the game once and it comes with all the cards for two players to play and anyone who buys the game gets the same set of cards. Also, instead of having to build a deck before playing, all players start the game with the same cards and build their deck throughout the game.
Have an MX master 3s and it's been really good so far. The weight took a bit to get used to (came from an apple magic mouse which weights almost nothing) but the extra buttons are super useful both for games and general usage.
Quite irresponsible of you to just recommend those games like that without any sort of warning :P
What does you having calloused hands have to do with Valve's influence on the handheld PC market? Did steamOS damage your hands or something?
Here in Portugal the prescriptions even say how much the generic medicine should cost, so that you immediately know if the pharmacy is trying to sell you more expensive medicine.
