there are some killer shows from the 89 tours- this one at Hampton as well as the following night, Alpine Valley, Shoreline, Philly, I could go on and on listing tour dates lol. most people know of the Philly show I think because of the official release but that's just scratching the surface of the heat they were bringing that year. I'm generally a late 60s-late 70s era fan but 89 was another peak for them for sure.
I'll check those out, thanks for the recs!
as long as you're not sharing unsolicited Dick's Picks I think you're good to go ;)
man I have listened to 11/19/93 so many times lol, I remember sitting in my neighbors house trimming his homegrown weed with him years ago when he put that one on and I was just like holy shit man what show is this???
last I heard they were actively working on the script and I think a few other casting decisions had been made in addition to Jonah Hill. probably still a long way away from actually shooting the movie but apparently it's typical of Scorsese to keep things in development this long while he works on other projects. I dont think the controversy over Jonah's texts or whatever it is will effect the movie idk very much about that situation though
I am really enjoying this one, not sure I'd put it above GarciaLive 11 or 13, or the Kean College performance, but I think it'll end up among my favorites after a few more listens
not a mobile app but Spicetify for desktop might have an extension that does what you're looking for.
Hunter Seamons also has a great matrix of 3/18/77 I found on archive.org a while ago
I just did a full wipe of my system to try out Fedora KDE, XFCE & Budgie spins (I finally got fed up with Gnome not being what I wanted anymore after like 15 years of using it as my preferred DE) and didn't really have the same experience at all - even Fedora XFCE which you say was completely broken was working fine for me. I haven't run anything other than Fedora in a long time though so I can't really speak to the out of the box experience on other distros.
haven't had much time to actually pick any of them up the past 6 months or so, but I play guitar, bass guitar & mandolin. was working on learning In Memory of Elizabeth Reed by the Allman Brothers on guitar before life got in the way
I normally go for the 70s stuff more but these 89 shows have been hitting hard for me the past month or so
don't sleep on the 3 night run at the Greek Theater too!
