A community for Deadheads on Lemmy.
Feel free to post music, discussion, memes, articles and anything else related to the Grateful Dead or the band members' side projects.
Only a couple quick rules, I think most should be obvious anyway:
- Stay on topic - keep posts Dead related
- Keep disagreements civil
- No NSFW (pornographic) content
- No racist, sexist, bigoted or violent content
- No politics (unless something is directly related to the band or its members) or other deliberately divisive topics
- Above all else, be kind, ain't no time to hate

If you like matrix... Joe Noel (hopefully I'm getting the name right) is the way to go
Yeah the Joel Noel matrixes are underrated for sure. Rarely hear him mentioned. Other two that tend to be great that aren't mentioned as much are Eichorn and Chappell.
Got any links to good recordings from him?
I got confused a bit I guess.. I can't seem to find many matrices in my collection by joe noel.
just these
- 1989-07-02 Sullivan Stadium, Foxboro, MA [Matrix:Joe Noel]
- 1989-07-07 John F. Kennedy Stadium - Philadelphia, PA [Matrix:Joe Noel]
- 1989-07-10 Giants Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ [Matrix:Joe Noel]
but man his 78 sbds sound great.
I did a google search and some of these are joe noel matrixes it seems:

I really love this matrix but I can't remember if it is the sound quality or the show
it should be on archive
