I’m only skimming headlines but it looks like he is accused of forcibly kissing a 16 year old, which is rude to say the least.
Yeah it’s what I’d refer to as a “not very cool guy” move.
last I heard they were actively working on the script and I think a few other casting decisions had been made in addition to Jonah Hill. probably still a long way away from actually shooting the movie but apparently it's typical of Scorsese to keep things in development this long while he works on other projects. I dont think the controversy over Jonah's texts or whatever it is will effect the movie idk very much about that situation though
