Holy shit. That is indeed 88 in binary...

What's even more impressive is that they're talking about German Shepherds. GSDs don't even have opposable thumbs!

Maybe he's not the only one who is horrified by it?

They don't want to change it (at least in the US) because a lot of protections mention it by name.

So if the name changed, it would remove/weaken a lot of the legal protections.

The main thing stopping me is that I only use my PC for gaming, and I know the support for drivers etc isn't as good on Linux (though I know this is debated).

However if Linux became more centralised, with a "gaming first" distro like this, the graphics drivers would have a "main test case" to work with.

This is my theory anyway.

For me now I think of it like a marvel movie.

This cop not shooting anyone is just like a man with superpowers swinging through the city on sci fi ropes.

It's nice to imagine.

Or is it that you hate being treated like you think only minorities should be treated?

Speaking as someone who was thrown into being a pedestrian in this city with no training:

Just go slow and steady (don't dash forwards) and the cyclists will go around you. Telegraph what you're up to if you're worried.

The only reason cars would be safer if because of how ineffective they'd be (i.e. average speed of 2km/h).

Stuff like knowing that standing on red means you're in the bike lane makes it a lot less scary.

And yeah the worst spots are directly outside the central station, and probably on the bridges in the Jordaan. Apart from that you can pick up the rhythm in under an hour.

When it happened, had you had a drink that day/evening?

It can also be to do with things like blood pressure or blood vessel dilation.

For example I often get it when I go to bed after a couple of drinks.

So it's entirely possible there's a contextual reason that you can fix if it's important to you.
