The subreddits like sewing were pretty fab.

I recently received a reddit warning (and was threatened with a ban if it repeated) for "language" in a private message that was not reported. The message said AI identified it and a human reviewed it. The message was not reported to them.

Which I guess I knew could happen but you typically don't assume mods are reading PMs. Anywho I haven't been back but still need to delete my shit.

I (my parents) had a computer when I was 5 and didn't learn to type properly until I took a typing class on manual typewriters in middle school because computer games don't teach you to type and we didn't have the internet

Sure, but let's say they spent 20m. Then their net worth would be under a billion and the next couple of years of earnings would have a lower tax rate.

Even if they never were able to make money again, 20m goes into a billion 50 times. They could overspend for 50 years without making a cent on investments.

I'm sure they'd come up with fun new accounting loopholes though so their assets didn't appear to increase.

They're literally having a cross platform conversation to drive traffic

Beehaw just defederated a few instances, which means lemmy.world users can't really interact with their users. Other than that, it affects what shows up in your local feed.

What if it's zoned for coffee shops above the apartments?

But are the shops zoned for coffee?

They do have a discord but generally discord moves pretty quickly so it can be harder to participate
