I am stunned this comic is still around. It would be like finding out Liberace was still alive.

Fauci angrily denied covering up the origins of Covid-19 before the panel in June, arguing that it would be "molecularly impossible" for the bat viruses studied at the lab to be turned into the virus that caused the pandemic.

All I need to hear. The United State top expert on infectious disease has spoken. I'd like to know more about the "impossible" bit, but it would quickly go over my head.

"the smell of wine and cheap perfume" gets me hard. Add in a hint of tobacco and I'm mad horny. They should sell this to women.

I seriously doubt you've filled out a 4473. Here's the question:

"f. Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.

Yes/No"

I drink beer. Am I an addict? Tell me how to answer this form. You're also saying no pot smokers should own a gun, even if it's legal in their jurisdiction.

What if I am addicted to something? How do you propose to A) catch the lie and B) prove that in court?

For all of you who scream, "Enforce the laws!", take a step back and think who will enforce it against who. I'll give ya three guesses, but you're only going to need one.

Oh. My. Fuck. Me.

The image shows a man and a girl walking on a path in a wooded area. The foreground is covered in fallen leaves and pine straw. In the background, there is a wooden structure that appears to be some sort of storage shed or lean-to. A fire pit is visible to the left. The trees are dense and the lighting suggests it's daytime. There appears to be a small animal or bird under the wooden structure.

The man appears to be middle-aged, Caucasian, with a casual style. He appears to be wearing camouflage clothing and jeans, suggesting an outdoorsy lifestyle. He is carrying a water bottle. The girl is young, likely elementary school-aged, wearing a pink shirt and shorts. She looks somewhat pensive. They both appear to be of average economic means and are engaging in a simple outdoor walk. The picture was taken at 2:44:22 AM on February 1st, 2020, with a Bushnell camera. There's also an unidentifiable object hanging from a tree branch in the background.

The image's resolution is somewhat low, indicative of a security camera, making the details somewhat blurry. The lighting is not uniform, with patches of sunlight and shadow. There is a subtle difference in the ground texture between the path and the surrounding areas. The girl appears to have a slightly concerned expression on her face. The wood used in the construction of the shelter seems weathered and may be indicative of its age and prolonged exposure to the environment.

Mostly spot on except the date because I never set the trail cam. Also, no animal under the firewood shed and the water bottle is a Keystone in a cozie. Cannot believe it picked up the ground difference in the trail and the edge of it.

It's generally wise to dump your low paying customers for high paying customers, but lord, these guys. The largest customers can't move quickly, so they get monster invoices. But they will eventually move and tank VMware. Bet there are already companies formed or forming to aid customers in switching to the hypervisor of their choice.

I'm dumber than a rock when it comes to business, but even I would have stood up in the boardroom, "These price hikes will wipe us off the map in 3-5 years. There's nothing special about our product keeping people here."

Apparently these idiots think they have the same type of customer lock that Oracle has. Well guys, switching hypervisors is a shitload easier than switching databases.

Went to the office as a woman one Halloween. (Won the contest!) No one knew who I was, not even old friends. Hell, one friend straight checked me out, bottom to top. That was a system shock.

I now have an appreciation for women and makeup I would never have felt. Also, I apparently touch my face, a lot. What a pain.

My step-son was 11 and constantly singing YMCA.

"Look, I don't want to freak you out, but in case you get made fun of at school, YMCA is a gay anthem. No problem with that, but you should know."

He was horrified, so he started singing "I Will Survive" instead. I just didn't have the heart to tell him.

"I Will Survive"?

Ha! I was thinking along these lines reading science fiction the other day. In every novel where stuff has to get moved overland, it's always a train. No matter their tech level, trains are the simplest, most efficient solution.

Seen some math on the mountains of salt we would have to move. Very discouraging for desalinization and/or getting hydrogen that way.
