I've hopped to another server due to the abysmal uptime of late. I'll continue checking in though. I know they're working on adding sysops so I'm sure things will improve.
What year is your ride? Has it still got the original ignition and fuel system? Cold start idle issues are usually fuel delivery/air mixture issues.
Have you followed any of Jehu Garcia's electric builds? If not, it may help you iron down a course of action and help you convince your dad that it's a pretty awesome idea.
If you end up creating a build thread somewhere, please share the link. I'd love to follow this.
Will do, because unlike you, I look at myself for improvement, not the nameless of society forcing me to buy flashier things.
Let's make a deal; I'll learn to read if you can learn to take some accountability for your actions.
and who run themselves in to the ground and in to tons of debt to “keep up appearances”
I don't understand how you can blame this on a system. We all decide whether to try to impress or fit in with others via purchases. I choose not to give a flying fuck in a rolling donut whether anyone likes my 45 year old daily driven car, wal-mart fitness wear or Chinese eBay bike parts. I'm ok if people don't think much of my second-hand modular home. I don't see any reason to buy new shoes when my 7 year old grass stained pair is still holding strong. For the things I do that I'm not proud of, I'm a strong enough personality not to blame a system for my shortcomings.
The system will never change through the use of memes or twitter screenshots. The system will change when people decide to live a different type of life based on their own happiness.
What did Gizmodo think might happen instead? That everyone, including those that were never impacted by 3rd party app changes, would just abandon the site, leaving it without users? "Peak journalism".
I use both Windows and linux daily. I don't have an issue with either.
I love my Linux but this is absolutely delusional.
Yes, they're called gandywagons: https://railroad.net/volkswagen-vw-micro-buses-railroad-buses-or-gandy-wagons-t172454.html
Fantastic job. I happen to be doing the same thing ATM.
The beetle got a collapsible column in 68 so judging by the rear wheel and vent behind the rear window, this one should have had one.
