Walmart is toxic. I worked there for about a year. It was the most stressful and aggravating year of my life. The breakroom was always filled with employees having breakdowns and anger-venting to each other. Don't blame the employees. Don't shop there. The Waltons do not deserve your money.

My android phone did not strip away the metadata. It not only identified what type of phone I was using but also the exact time and date each photo was taken.

"At will" and "right to work" are two different laws. You accurately described "at will employment." "Right to work" laws make it illegal for unions to mandate the dues that you would pay them. It effectively defunding and disempowering unions.

According to Wikipedia, "In the context of labor law in the United States, the term right-to-work laws refers to state laws that prohibit union security agreements between employers and labor unions. Such agreements can be incorporated into union contracts to require employees who are not union members to contribute to the costs of union representation."

In Oklahoma, the order is actually randomized. Different districts will have the candidates in different orders.

Keep an eye on those orange mushrooms growing on that tree. They could be Chicken of the Woods.

That's definitely the clock next to the library on University of Oklahoma's campus.

According to the article Matt Binder wrote (https://www.disruptionist.com/p/elon-musk-takes-america-x-handle), the @america handle hadn't posted since May of 2020. So, they didn't stick around. They just never deleted the account.

Yeah, if any kid's parents have monitoring software on the phone, that will burn battery power even when the screen is off.

After the update, I cannot see replies to comments. If I am logged out and view the post, all comments show. But when I log in I can see that there are replies to someone's comment but instead of showing the comments, I just see "2 replies." If I click to expand the comment chain, nothing happens. It's weird that everything looks normal if I'm logged out, but not when logged in.

Edit: I am also having a similar problem with the comments on this post. When logged in, no comments show, despite the comment icon showing that there are comments. I cannot even see my replies to other comments. I can see my comment reply to this post. If I log out, everything shows fine.

Edit2: I can see older comments on posts from a month ago. I don't know if this is a new comments issue, or something else. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about how lemmy works under the hood.

When I go to view an individual community the newest posts are not always showing. Some communities look like they have no posts, even though I know that they do. Example: https://lemmy.world/c/autism When I view the link I only see posts that are from August 5th or older. When viewing all on the instance, newer posts will appear though.

Edit:(12 hours later) I don't know if it is related, but I am not seeing the comments on this post. They pop-up in my inbox as replies, but do not appear when I view the post.
