Especially with the massive influx of users on this instance. I for one am quite happy with the admins and how they're holding up during this. lol

It's early days here. Give it some time...
Many fond memories playing my Melee and Double Dash with my father and brother. We still play every once and a while for old times' sake.
Quite agreed. It really doesn't take much more effort to sign up under their system, but it seems people on other instances love complaining about things they know nothing about.
We need this here... Its essential
And this a prime example of why the multi-instance system is great. Don't like one instance? Go to another one.
EDIT: I also wish to say that I feel both sides of the situation have merit. Yes, it sucks that we've been defederated, but in all fairness, there legitimately was an issue with abusive users causing havoc over on Beehaw.
Same with me. For what it's worth, the people here seem genuinely nice. :D
I actually started with the original Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. For a time I was into Famicom and Super Famicom games that never got localized. After I played that I went on to play some of the more popular games in the series.
When I first got into Linux about 13 or so years ago, I started like most people do with Ubuntu. Nowadays I mainly use Arch.
The worst part is when you're so excited to eat it and you have to wait for it to cool. D:
Agreed! Lemmy kinda captures the same sense of excitement and experimentation that the early internet seemed to have.
