If you're thinking of the modern pop-culture version of the anti-christ, then no.

If you compare his behaviour to how the bible actually describes the anti-christ, then yes.

According to the bible he is supposed to:

  • Be a divisive non-politician who comes into power against peoples expectations.

  • Be overly arrogant with great boastful speeches

  • Lead many people away from Jesus and cause them to blindly follow himself.

  • Lead a very powerful military nation

  • Publically threaten people as a common tactic

  • Be very focused on winning/conquering

  • Rise to power through collusion, lies and corruption.

  • His election into power will by some be seen as a miracle

  • Will use his power to enrich themselves and their allies

  • Spread lies and falsehoods as truth, general lies and deception.

  • It specifically says he will reward his allies with land/property

  • Become angry and threaten the "King of the south"(Mexico)

  • Be supported by some of the nations most powerful religious leaders(super churches and such support him)

  • See themselves as above everyone else

  • Disregard the needs of the most vulnerable in society

  • Some will rise up in protest and face violence in return

Some things that are almost too on the nose:

  • Only see one term

  • Attempt to stay in power but defeated by the legal system

  • Use his armed forced to remove people from a church for their own nefarious needs

  • During their rule there will be large inflation in food cost, while oil remains cheap

  • There will be a pandemic and mass death during their rule

  • Supposed to worship the "god of fortresses" (in reference of walls and keeping people out)

  • Followers will wear a mark on their forehead (maga caps)

If you think that's a kbin thing, you've not used reddit in years, you haven't looked at anything lemmy, etc.

Part of the problem is that they slap "AI" on everything, and many people think it's actually intelligent, and not what amounts to the old school chat bots with more power.

Add a dab of lavender to milk, leave town with an orange, and pretend you're laughing at it.

I'm going to trust multiple peer-reviewed medical studies over a youtube talk with under 600 views.

Specially when it's on a channel branding itself as being skeptical towards science.

EDIT: On a closer look it's straight up just one of those conspiracy theory channels and organizations that present itself as actual science.

And here's a study if someone wants to look at actual science regarding the placebo effect:

There might be some bias involved based on the third paragraph:

The good news is that users can opt out of this data collection by deselecting it during the installation process. However, the process isn’t too straightforward either unlike AMD, which explicitly asks the user whether they want to opt out of data collection. Nvidia, however, enables and installs its Telemetry components by default and users are unable to opt out of it.

I feel like there are some kinda bipolar views about the Western or non-Western nature of political positions on homosexuality going on here.

It's 200+ years of nationalistic propaganda to ensure most of the Russian population really does believe their country is "good" and that everyone that even hints otherwise is "evil". So pretty much everything that's more common in "the west" than in Russia, will be promoted as "evil".

You see the same thing in many US republicans, where they defend anything the US does as "good" and label anyone speaking against it as "evil", no matter how illogical. I guess that's why so many are basically their assets.

Sure, but there is literally 0% DeSantis would live like a slave for a year. He wouldn't do it for a week. At most he'll spend a an hour or two posing for photos and then step into bus/trailer with a shower, AC and clean clothes before being driven home in a car that costs more than people make in a year or two.

The ceo is a bigoted asshole, Brave is chromium, it was initially funded by Peter Thiel and they're literally just trying to make their own adsense network.

The self-proclaimed privacy focused browser is tracking your browsing and want to serve you personalized ads, and I think they want to use that tracking data for AI training as well, meaning other people can potentially access it.

And lets not forget about their crypto currency that you can earn by turning on special ads. Which they seemingly unironically called it "Basic Attent Tokens"..

TL;DR: The company is basically a sham company trying to usher in a dystopia. Where you'll get paid for staring at ads, while having all your data stolen and sold back to you.

It's a joke post. Which makes it extra funny, and quite sad, how many of the comment seem to think it's serious and are unironically chiming in with complaints.

OPs username is "Peter Poopshit", I wouldn't take anything they post seriously.

Answer: Money.

They hand out money like candy at Halloween.
