I was like in red dead redemption 2 but d4s map is unnatural and confusing I can’t imagine doing anything without an external resource

The crane and bear tribe quests are pretty rad, but that may be because I love barbarian stuff. Crane tribe got shafted by not having a waypoint but it also kind of plays into their story. And bear tribe gives you "the" and "bear" titles.
Its a promotional thing, makes sense from a marketing/sales perspective. Just open a twitch tab, mute it, and leave it running in the background.
I think generally speaking game specific communities are toxic. There are a few exceptions (Deep Rock Galactic, Oxygen Not Included) but usually much smaller user base (and/or Indie games). Seems like the more popular the game, the more the vocal fan base is just a bunch of salty sweatlords.
This is actually my biggest reason for using Lemmy, and this community specifically, because it seems much more chill. People on Reddit that are at level cap crying about how much they hate the game. Its ridiculous
If you haven’t already, switch to world tier 1. There’s definitely a lull in gear around those levels but stick with it - it gets better.
Well whats stupid is because we need to move the mouse like we do - we can actually get faster top speeds than console players. There's a video floating around that shows it.
I don't hate this as much as I used to now that I've found a reason to go slow on the horse - PVP. You sit on your horse to get a larger field of view and trot around, you don't want to spur the horse because other players can hear that. Now this is literally the only time I can think of where its advantageous to idle on the horse, and move around slowly, but its something.
I think generally speaking they've got to know that the horse just isn't very fun. Getting stuck constantly, checking the map constantly. Needs a lot more polish.
I think either is fine, if you just focus on the campaign and get each area to renown level 3 by the time you finish the campaign you’ll be near 50. And really - the campaign itself levels you quite a bit. Leveling really slows down after that. I would try the capstone dungeon as soon as you beat the campaign just to get a feel for it, I was 48 when I beat it.
Probably related to world tier - I’m in WT3 currently and the goblin drops have been much better.
Also "A large Client Patch is planned, covering 13 pages of patch notes, including fixing additional performance issues."... holy smokes.
Nerfs, nerfs all the way down.
They really do not like that everyone has figured out damage buckets and is prioritizing crit and vulnerable.
Nerfed cooldown reduction affix pretty hard
Made mystery chest in Helltide 250 instead of 175 cinders.
Buffed nightmare dungeons again.
