No problem! It's basically a service for people to sell used clothing/items, but they have a very good delivery guarantee.

Do you have Vinted in your country? I've bought used vinyl through it and I'm really happy with the experience so far.

It's not dedicated to vinyl sales though and the availability of things you're looking for will be highly variable. But I picked up an original pressing of David Bowie - Low via Vinted for a fair price.

It looks like Blackpool, UK.

It's all metric until the final part 😭

It's still one of my favourite albums.

Oooh I haven't listened to Lead Into Gold in a while and you're right, it's pretty close to what I'm looking for. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm enjoying Kidneythieves, so thanks for the recommendation!

I want to be 2 or 3, but really I'm 7 or 12.

Thanks! I'm already familiar with HTDA but I haven't listened to any Kidneythieves yet so I'll check that out.

That looks amazing! He should be proud.

Tired of Me, by jesu (jesu.bandcamp.com)

I think about this song daily.

This is one of my favourite albums. It's a bit of an odd one out in Novembre's discography: it's generally a bit softer, it features mostly clean vocals, and it generally sounds quite upbeat.

The standout track for me is Jules: it balances a melodic tenderness with an outro that makes you want to headbang and cry out with joy all at the same time. The whole album gives me a distinctly summery vibe: lazy days, the feeling of life stretching out ahead of you... all the possibilities it brings.

This album will always hold a special place for me.

I love the alternate mix of this album by Amenra.

A Memory Stream, by The American Dollar (theamericandollar.bandcamp.com)

I first came across this band thanks to an animated video Fursy Teyssier (Les Discrets, Amesoeurs) made for one of their songs. I've loved them ever since.

Signals, by Pallbearer (pallbearer.bandcamp.com)

One of my favourite tracks from Pallbearer's new album, Mind Burns Alive. It's beautiful.

A good friend put me onto the album this track is from last year, and I love it.

An interview with Alexander Ridha (Boys Noize) about the creation of his Challengers soundtrack mix.

Monotony Fields, by Shape of Despair (shapeofdespair.bandcamp.com)
submitted 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) by mbgid to c/funeraldoom

This is probably my favourite Shape of Despair album, although there's stiff competition from Angels of Distress.

There isn't a track out of place on this album, and the song "The Distant Dream of Life" always gives me chills. I love that they included a re-recorded version of "Written in My Scars" at the end too.

I found out about this band through to Poema Arcanus, another Chilean death-doom band. They've got a great melancholic sound to them.
