Hope you manage to get a ticket today! I managed to pick up 2 standing for Manchester, UK.

If you haven't yet, sign in to Ticketmaster now (they've been asking people to update their password) and update your payment details so when the tickets go onsale you'll have all that done already.

Work is being extra difficult today. It's not at the point where I'm in danger of burning out, but I'll sure be glad when I clock off for the day.

I'm not in the US but recently met someone who is, and they made a great point about nurturing and supporting the communities/groups you're already in. Whether you meet physically or virtually, spend time with and be present for each other.

As for finding a community, one of the things that has really worked for me is finding a local hardcore punk music venue and going to shows there. Even if you're not into the music, the chances are good that the people in that scene are inclusive of queer, trans, neurodiverse and disabled identities.

Edit: I was in a bit of a hurry in my original reply. I want to add that I hope you're safe, and that you are able to find support, love and hope through your community. I once saw a tshirt with the slogan "QUEER LOVE DESTROYS FASCISM" and I keep holding onto that thought to get me through dark days.

My closest one is Manchester, UK on a Tuesday. Looks like I'm taking 2 days off of work for this one.

They used to be part of the same scene as Napalm Death, and played some of the same shows.

I've only recently seen one of these for the first time, in Bristol. I know they're not rare but I was still ridiculously excited.

They never stand still so these are great shots!

I am so excited for this!

When Katya says "nobody cares about lgbt rights" she's signalling that she doesn't care about them.

It's your decision how you want to carry on, but be aware of that.

I saw this band play live last night and they were incredible. This EP goes hard.

After a few years with no news, they've come out with this release and I love it immediately.

What a tune.

One of my best friends recently shared this album with me in her top 10 of 2024 list, and I haven't stopped listening to it since.

I've had this palm for a few years and it's been fine. I water it once a month, don't move it around too much and make sure the soil doesn't get waterlogged.

A month or so ago I noticed it starting to droop, and the soil was still very wet despite not having recently watered it. As a precaution I removed it from the damp soil and repotted it with fresh houseplant compost mix. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have improved the plant's health 😒

Is there anything else I can try?
