I only git as far as SNCF, the French railway company. Just a transposition and a single pen stroke away.

Aloe Vera now and every 3 hours for a week. Apply lots. Apply it often.

It does more than just help with the pain and partially repairs the damage done.

And thanks for the reminder to reapply on my knees from the surprise sunny bike ride yesterday.

That's called book binding. A perfectly respectable craft.

so I'm unclear about why they follow EU mandates at all

We're in the EEA which at this point includes EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. We get to be part of the common market and have free movement of goods and people and whatnot. But it requires "harmonising" rules across the market so that you don't get technical hurdles instead of straight up tariffs. And then we have no say in these harmonised rules because we're not in the EU 🤷🏼‍♂️

But imagine the fart sound it could make when you release it!

A gravity battery doesn't have such great energy density so you'd better be able to make it huge instead.

The entire point of the current and the classic pandas is a small car with four wheel drive that is popular with farmers and rural people and in snowy mountain regions in Italy (and less popular with me being stuck behind one on the motorway). And they're indestructible. This seems to just be a random electric car that has borrowed some visual design elements from it 😐

An actual electric panda would be great. Small, cheap, fast enough, but can trudge across difficult terrain when needed. Forever. My mum would buy it.

It cannot think, it cannot learn, it can only predict.

That's a distinction without a difference. If it can predict what a AGI would do in a given situation, then it is an AGI.

I'm not saying that it is an AGI, but the reason it it isn't is more than "it can only predict".

At this point it would be most likely to be an LLM which just emulates what it has seen CEOs do in its training data and would do the same sort of thing.

They get fed to the sharks. That's why you so rarely hear of shark attacks. A well fed shark is a safe shark.

Perhaps, if the participation goes down another smidgen, they can also do something about the scourge of drop bears!
