Da es nur einen Aktionär gibt ist das Ding nicht börsengehandelt und die Rechtsform an sich ist prinzipiell egal solange der Bund als Eigentümer die richtigen Maßnahmen einfordert. Mit der Riege an Autofetischisten der letzten 40 Jahre machst Du halt keinen Stich für die Bahn.

The "muh free speech" "argument" doesn't hold in light of the fact, that this is a privately owned and operated platform at the full discretion of the admins. Free speech is a right to defend people from the government, not to enable every asshole to spew their shit into everyone's feed.

chaos.social ist super flauschig und ich kenne einen der Admins persönlich. Der und seine Kollegin machen das viel besser als ich es (schon allein aus Zeitgründen) könnte. Eigener Server ist mir aus Ideologiegründen super sympathisch aber da geb ich lieber meiner Lieblingsinstanz Geld und nutze meine Zeit anders.
Guess what, not everyone lives in the US. We still have freedom of speech and this is legally relevant as a defense against the government. You can't force a private company or club or whomever, really, to give you a platform.
