Is France similar to the US in that the far right is viewed as an existential threat by pretty much everyone except the far right? If that's the case, it seems like a coalition between the centrists and the left would be obvious. Of course, the devil is always in the details.
Yeah it just doesn't let up here for a few months. I don't think we're going to hit the record set last year for 110°+ days (55 iirc.) I bike early morning when it's "cool" at 85°ish. Cause doing stuff outside in the middle of the day gets you this.

Picking a VP to meet demographics rather than because they'd be a good president if the worst happens is... problematic, and I think that's exactly why she has the job. She wasn't great during the 2020 primary. Whether because the Biden team has sidelined her the last four years or some other factor, is irrelevant in the critical fight to not lose our democracy.
If I had my druthers it would be Whitmer/Shapiro - two popular (at least among their constituents) governors from swing states. The Dems have a number of promising candidates honestly - imagine that debate with Newsom instead of Biden - but the swing state issue tips it for me.
If I ever injure myself to the point where I need to rehab on a three wheel before I can get back to my regular bikes, I will buy a recumbent. I'm in my 50s and I remember the ATC incidents well - I was sitting behind someone on one when I was a kid when we went over, fortunately, nobody was seriously injured, but they are very not stable.
Probably continuous vs peak power. I've seen brands advertise this very unethically - Lectric has done this. "Ours is 1400W, the competition is only 750W!"

Heh, I was thinking about tint while running errands a few hours ago, exactly what you describe. You're spot on.
Didn't change mine, but I'm the opposite of a low information voter, and just based on p2025 I'd vote for Weekend at Biden's.
