Well, we can prove the universe exists, but not that it's some unified, all-powerful thing controlling us all afaik.

It's why I stick with agnostic atheism. I'm not claiming to know either way on all forms of deism or theism or whatever. There's enough contradictions and falsifiable claims in all organized religions I've been made aware of so far, so I am gnosticly atheist for those specific gods.

Even according to Dawkins definition of sex, there are only two, which is scientifically inaccurate. He's a fucking esteemed biologist and should know the difference between binary and bimodal.

On some models yeah. I've had cars that didn't

I'm pretty sure I have some deficiencies, but I'm lucky I got to learn pretty young on a farm. I'm torn between wanting to advocate kids have access to like go kart tracks at school vs funding more public transit and walkable communities, as someone else said. Both would be dope tho

Welcome to life, where occasionally you deal with things you don't want to. I do hope you never experience a similar situation, but if you do, I hope it is handled with compassion.

Fourth panel was definitely me, and I'm comfy. Get you some electrolytes, though! Happy new year

  1. Science, so the final stage is being shot from a canon. Or helping a med student. I'm fine with either

There's a small city in the Kansas City, Missouri metro (Raytown) that lobbied to keep it legal in restaurants and bars. I just looked it up, and apparently it's fine to smoke weed as of 2023, too

You could maybe read it as the cop having implicit knowledge and mourning the loss before he takes action. Like "I sure will miss ya"

Super dark, got a sharp, uncomfortable laugh/gasp outta me

It's actually added to table salt iirc, but I don't remember the exact function it serves. I did have a boss once tell me she was getting depressed and thought she was dying... Went to her doctor and found out her substituting sea salt (which doesn't usually have iodine) was causing a lot of issues with her mental health. I can't recall the physical issues she had developed, if any at that point. I think she'd only made the substitution a few months or so prior to getting it figured out
