a virtual replica of you is able to embody your values and preferences with stunning accuracy.

I'm calling BS on this one. "Values and preferences" are such a far cry from Actual Personality that it's meaningless. Just more LLM hype

I hate the whole "towing the party line" thing that all political parties do. If my riding votes for an MP, who stands in parliament in favor of something that their constituents don't want, but the party does, that MP is not reflecting the will of their constituents, regardless of party lines.

Not surprised that PP is enforcing this kind of anti-democratic stance, even though it's basically standard practice for all parties.

I don't remember this, because the sum-total knowledge and intelligence of 37 million Canadians has always been smaller than the sum-total knowledge and intelligence of 335 million Americans

I'd watch 7 seasons of this, assuming the Borg don't win

Madouc (or, Maddy for short) is a lovable black void who enjoys food, more food, and music, especially whistling. Also, if you're talking on the phone with your speaker on, she's very, very interested.

Yes, but how many Ads for (Car Brand) do I need to see before I'll buy a vehicle from (Car Brand)?

Oooof, I feel that. I started Malazan back at the end of June, currently 2/3rds through Book 7, "Reaper's Gale".

It's far less dark that books 2 and 3, but it's still sooooo... I don't know, not as many payoffs as previous books. Feeling some Malazan fatigue with 3 books to go

Every day is a new day, and the old ones are gone and past. Yes, those days helped form the way you turned out: but you've got a bright new start, and now You get to decide how you turn out. It gets better, especially as long as you want it to, and work to make it so, even just the tiniest bit each day.

Also, therapy is always recommended.

Found it good but slow, and a bit unfocused. Only 6 episodes planned for season one though? That's kind of phoning it in

I hope that this is a true story

The plastic face scratches very easily- I've had to buff out 2 scratches in 3 weeks, so I feel like it won't have much longevity for daily use. It's also kinda loud, and can be audibly heard clicking every single second when you're in a quiet space.

Feel free to drop by

60% completed, should be done by end of year! :D

Got Barley from the shelter a few weeks back, she's 7. All her life her name has been "Harley", but she responds to "Barley" so we're going with it

Not sure if it's the same mourning Dove as last time but I'm only a little creeped out so it's fine, it's totally fine. This is fine.

I'm not sure what made me so interesting

We're currently Cat-Sitting for family members, this is Nami! She barks little meows like a dog, and absolutely loves staring out the window all day. :)

Taken last week, apparently it posed somewhat majestically
