Wait, isn't a pcie sata card a HBA by design?

I'd argue, that lower frequencies (male voices) are harder to understand, because built in tv speaker struggle to reproduce them. The attenuation should not really matter in a closed room, a size that normal people can afford.

Other than that I think you are totally right.

Totally agree. That's what I tell any friend who asks me for buying advice. Go to the store, and see what you like, built quality and feature wise. Think about how many USB ports you need, what gimmicks you like, screen that you can fold over, or turn around and such things. Feel how heavy it is, how big the screen is compared to the overall size and how you like the keyboard.

Then go on the internet and get that base model with the best internals you are willing to pay for.

I find that title a but over dramatic. If you download a torrent then for the love of the community seed back. If you get your stuff elsewhere, then... well don't.

I think what you actually mean is Why I would never download a torrent. which is totally fine and your decision to make.

Are they even legit? I always assume that's some kind of a scam. That they don't actually have the files, but generate them based on incoming searches to get people to pay them. Because no matter what you are looking for, somehow there is always this one guy who as everything... neatly sorted and locked.

But either way, they are scum and should be ignored.

Outlook gave me an opt in to a new client, it's basically the webclient, looks kinda like an webapp. Needless to say it sucks, I hope they won't follow through with this bullshit.

Managing certificates is fairly easy with let's encrypt and certbot. Just get a free subdomain from duckdns and give it a try. The only thing I wish I knew earlier is, that you don't need the whole snapd thing to install certbot, like they tell you in the official Dokumentation, but can just install it from the debian repository (and I assume the same goes for Ubuntu)

Took them bastards long enough.

I just found out about nzb360 an can highly recommend. It bundles all the arrs together so nicely and makes finding and adding new content so easy.

Immich works great, even though it is still under heavy development. Gets updated almost weekly with new features and improvements.

And to keep new people engaged. If someone signes up and there is barely any content to scroll throgh, they go right back to reddit and lemmy will never take off.

Check their documentation, should be all there you need.
