My yellow is powered by a 4GB Ram compute module and it’s doing great. I was lucky to get it three months after release.
I manage zigbee directly from the yellow with no issues. The built in radio handles both zha or zigbee2mqtt. So whichever you prefer… Matter over thread also works once you tell the radio to support both simultaneously. (All described in the yellow docs)
Als MacBook Air M1 Nutzer der ersten Stunde weiß ich gar nicht was ihr so schreit mit unbedingt 16 GB RAM. Wenn ihr chrome mit 20 tabs, Teams und sonstigen electron scheiss drauf laufen lasst, meinetwegen. Ich komme mit meinen 8GB sehr gut klar (auch ein gelegentliches Filme schneiden via Finalcut). Wie bereits erwähnt sind die generalüberholten Geräte von Apple eine absolute Empfehlung, ggf. kriegen Studenten noch ein wenig Rabatt.
Wenn es auf dem weiteren Gebrauchtmarkt gekauft wird, dann sollte es keine größeren Dellen aufweisen, alle Tasten sollten funktionieren (und keineswegs kleben). Je weniger Ladezyklen der Akku hat, um so besser.

Played the open beta and it was meh. Felt like an assassins creed game with the fun stuff cut away. Basically drive ships and walk on islands, watch many cut scenes and go questing.

Sound great and I went the same way for a while. Just be aware that steam on Linux can have issues with ntfs partitions. So I also went the the two drive route, much less of a headache.
I’ve had major problems for days like half a year ago. Switched to dynv6.net with no issues so far.
