How did you even get to level 9 at that part of the game? I'm almost 9 and feel like I have done every possible thing in act 1 and 2 except for the end of 2. I was like level 7 when I did the Marcus fight.

The game funneled Karlach into Wildheart

Really? It didn't for me. It let me choose when I leveled her up.
