This seems huge to me - the fact that all 3 have never been on strike previously is a little surprising, but I imagine that really helps with their leverage.

It's mind-blowing how few of these articles mention anything about where people left reddit/Twitter to go to.
Charcuterie boards are peak lazy cuisine.
"You mean I can just eat meat and cheese and nuts and fruit on the cutting board I used to cut them up... and it's somehow fancy?"
They've tried a couple times to update and it's causing problems (that version of Lemmy). The expectation I last heard for the release of the next version is a week or so.
In the meantime, you can try a different android app (like Liftoff) or run the Progressive Webapp from Chrome by opening Lemmy.world and choosing "install app" from the ellipsis at the top right. It'll install your instance as an app.
Oh, I just realized I posted a version where I hadn't filtered out dual GPU setups. There's some weird data in there.... that's a dual GPU one. Here's the actual single GPU only (the "x2" was for dual GPU stuff in the original post).
Yeah, I think EV trucks are just stuck being laughably expensive for the foreseeable future. The Silverado looks to be coming in similarly priced. I hope this leads to smaller, safer trucks on the road, but I suspect it'll just mean EV trucks end up toys for wealthy people and work trucks stay gasoline-powered.
Hopefully it works out that this simplifies road trips for people - that's the real goal here. Competing "standards" suck. I just wish Tesla had done this from the start. Obviously they had a strong incentive not to, but still.
Agreed on the OP 7 Pro being pretty great, up until the last major android update that kind of killed it. I ended up having to switch it over to the Pixel Experience ROM for stability reasons.
I did a similar 7 pro to 7 pro (OnePlus to Pixel) move. It was striking how much better the camera is, and at this point I'd be hard-pressed to go back to OnePlus. I had a OnePlus 3 before the 7 Pro and it also had a crummy camera. The Pixel software experience also feels a little more polished (but only just) and the voice recognition absolutely wipes the floor with the OnePlus.
Agreed on that count - I like that UI consistency is an option for those who prefer it.
YTMND.... now there's a name I've not heard in a long, long time.
This is gorgeous! I love the colors and the contrast. It's just the right amount of interesting haha.
