I am using Infinity to post this comment. Thanks to the Open Source nature of the app, Infinity has already been forked to be used on Lemmy!

It already is and oh boy it's pretty good!
Also, 78 MBs for a Twitter clone is ridiculous (and alarming)! Twitter asks for 36 MBs while Mastodon only 1.6 MBs!
No problem, fella. I was worried about us overwhelming the servers of different Lemmy Instances. But proxy is still good. For instance, if I live in a country which is geographically distanced from the server, it will work fine regardless of my geographical distance.
As someone with partial blindness, this is very pathetic of u/spez!
I don't think it is possible to leave an app on idle with default screen time out settings as the person in question will have to unlock the device after screen goes off.
Apps can know which websites are being visited through their accessability services without relying on activating a VPN.
You may try Infinity for Lemmy. It's a fork of Infinity for Reddit and it is actively being developed.
