It surprises me with it being a game by Sakaguchi. There was a fair bit of upset that it was a iOS mobile exclusive when it was announced and subsequently released.

It’s a wonderful game though, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re able to play on a console when it’s released.

It’s one possibility. I’m not sure we’ll know for a while but it’s certainly interesting that ASOBI approached them to bring Final Fantasy in.

There’s no evidence for that, only speculation. It could be a number of other things, worse or otherwise.

Difficult to say. Previous x.1 releases have been anywhere from early September to early December. My suspicion is November, but we’ll probably find out tomorrow.

Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet hinted that the development team had eyed up a Cloud cameo that never got approval from Square Enix. "It's difficult to comment on that," Doucet said. "We really respect the choice of each publisher."
