Reminds me of when I was a kid watching Annie, I figured since it was set in the 1930s, it was filmed back then. I got really confused when I was a teenager and saw a rerun of the Carrol Burnett Show.
I always set the last button to the TV guide channel. It made it less suspicious if they saw the channel change. Or at least that's what I reasoned.
I had a similar trick. If I set the VCR to channel 4 and the TV to channel 3, it would shift all the cable channels down one. So Cinemax which was channel 14 and blocked would come in as channel 13 completely clear.

I was driving from Bakersfield to LA and pulled off the highway to get some gas. It was one of those exit ramps that goes down lower than the highway. I'm sitting at the light waiting to turn left and go under the highway, when a car comes flying off the highway upside down. It is airborne and goes right over top of my car. It hits the ground, slides until it hits the other side of the road and somehow rolls back onto its wheels. It then tries to take off but just crashes into fence and stops. A few moments later a parade of police cars came hauling ass down the exit ramp. I just drove straight back onto the highway and stopped at the next gas station.
Oh man, I was so disappointed with the show Siren: Survive the Island. I thought it had an awesome premise and was hopeful since it was Korean that it won't be your typical "reality show manufacturer drama". I was so disappointed.

My wife and I have had this conversation trying to get services for our son with autism. I make too much to qualify for anything, but my companies insurance sucks so bad that I end up paying thousands out of pocket each month.

- Taskmaster: series 18 has been great so far. My wife is loving it because she says Jack Dee and I both have the same reaction to things.
- The Great British Bake Off: as good as always
- School Spirits: it was okay. I'd rather watch Ghosts any day. (British or American version)
- Haikyu!!: my daughter just started playing volleyball at school, so I've been watching this with her. This is my second watch and it's still great.
Sadly it's Ryan Seacrest now
