Affect? Probably. Eliminate all together? Not at all. Some companies will care. Some companies won't even notice.

If it's floating you aren't getting all the air out of the bag. If you sous vide regularly, it may be worth investing in a vacuum sealer. If you don't want to do that there's all sorts of videos that show different techniques for getting the air out. Experiment and find one that works well for you.

Recently bought a new LG. I have not connected it to the network and have it set to automatically return to the last input on startup rather than go to the home screen. May as well just be a really big monitor at this point, which is perfect. I never see the LG interface and it never prompts me for anything.

Definitely. Keep your palms high to make it easier for the pinky to reach. If you rest your palms on the keyboard, it will make it awkward to use the pinky for keys in the upper rows.

Additional crosswords (self.crossword)

So far this community has been focused on NYT crosswords. What other crosswords do folks like to do?

I use an app on Android called alphacross to also do Newsday crosswords (for free). The Sat and Sun puzzles are usually pretty good. The Sat puzzle especially is referred to as the Saturday Stumper. It's not often I can finish it without turning on the error tracking feature. The Premier Sunday puzzle is decent as well.
