You evil genius.
Give her a few days but I do think you should reach out and send a message along the lines of
“If you would like, and only when you’re ready, I would still like to be your friend and in your life so long as that doesn’t cause you pain. I won’t bother you with more messages but please know you can reach out to me if or when you would like to.”
A side note, I had platonic feelings grow for someone I met and dated many years ago and we remained close friends for years but then a few years ago those feelings shifted back the other direction. We’ve been deeply in love and together ever since (and the foundation of friendship has been incredibly powerful with enabling us to have a very healthy, communicative, and honest relationship). Feelings are complicated.
This is what happens when you don’t have a passionately obsessed lead developer like Chris Delay behind the helm who writes a performant, purpose-built game engine from scratch.
I really worry that PA2 won’t have the magic of the original and will be a typical Unity game engine project with slapped together code from a mixture of asset packs until it vaguely works.
It’s also not her but her social media team running the accounts and writing the posts. I’m sure she has final approval before post but it’s simply a vehicle to get messaging out there and that’s what a campaign team is for.
Not personally but I did restart my phone a few times today cause of the other bugs so it might be something that emerges after the device has been on a while.
No impact to battery life that I’ve observed so far but a few of my Automations don’t work (setting White Point on Sleep focus doesn’t work at the moment).
Photos is crashing sometimes too. The new Dark Mode flipping icon colours and some icons going solid white.
It’s buggy; it’s beta. Don’t use it if you’re looking for stability.
Snap. I’ve used ProTools, Cubase, Audition, and Ardour a lot but Ableton’s Session view is such an amazing way to sketch out a song before bouncing over to Arrangement (akin to a traditional DAW’s sequence).
You can basically jam out a song in phrases, and build the sequence with a sample pad. It’s unreal how much faster it is to write music with Ableton - even with purely analogue audio inputs.
0.045¢ per hour is pretty good value.
