I went to The Root Cafe last week and really enjoyed it! The fries were really good, and I liked the side salad that came with the sandwich.

I'm a pretty big fan of purselane. I've had it raw in salads and briefly sautéed like spinach. Surprisingly good both ways!
I made a bacon-blue cheese potato salad for a work potluck. I'm also making some homemade sorrel pasta with pesto. Bigger project is to cure and cold smoke a side if salmon this weekend!
