They are absolutely amazing for tracking and staying motivated with doing workouts. Beyond that imo there's not much on there that is all that groundbreaking. I enjoy my smartwatch for all its bells and whistles, but I wouldn't have purchased it if I wasn't trying to get myself into running.

First of all, my parents have never had much if ever at all in the way of savings. Tbh not sure what's going to happen when they aren't going to be able to work anymore.

But I'm with you. I absolutely never understood why people ever feel like they are entitled to their parents money. Your parents earned that, not you. If my parents were never able to leave me a dime, I wouldn't give a shit. Even if they had a million dollars. I didn't earn that. I have no right to someone else's money.

I would feel different in scenarios where we are talking about a minor. If a 12 year old becomes orphaned, then yes, they should 100% be entitled to their parents' funds.

But why in the everliving fuck do people as adults feel entitled to money that is not theirs and they didn't earn? Incredibly bizarre concept to me.

Idk about cats, but my mom's dog absolutely never minded wearing clothes. What she doesn't like is stuff on her head. But shirts and stuff she doesn't give 2 shits.

My mom and brother are coming over for a pre-Xmas visit! We are going to be seeing my other sibling along with his wife and kids. Been working on trying to clean up because I am a huge fucking slob lol.

Then I have a work party which I am very nervous about. I have pretty bad social anxiety, don't know how to make my hair look nice, and I won't know like 99% of the people there. But it's free food and drink and my friend is supposed to be going so we'll see how it goes.

Do you have a tl;Dr?

Get this. You have a structure in your brain called the "mammillary bodies". It's because it looks like a pair of tits.

I'm going to be honest and say that I do not understand most of the technical jargon in that article or how it applies to the scenario. I don't know what to tell you because both my and others real world experience have seen battery improvements when disabling 5G. Could just be where the towers are in my area or something, but that's how it is for me and others.

When my phone is connected to a 5G signal, it is connected to "5G UC" which the forum user in the first article stated is a specific type of 5G signal which consumes more battery. I don't know if that bit about it being a specific type of signal is true, but the battery effect I have noted in practice. I don't have a Pixel phone, but I do use T-Mobile. I also often have a worse time trying to use data when my phone says "5G UC"...occasionally giving me a poor signal unless I disable it. I live in a very well populated, major metro area supposedly with good 5G coverage. I don't live out in the sticks and I don't live in an incredibly hyper dense urban center with excessive people crowding the cell towers. My phone is a flagship-level phone from 2023. So idk.

Edit: I feel like this is the 1080p vs 4k debacle all over again. I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between the two at a normal viewing distance. On a computer monitor? Sure. On a TV where you're sitting across the room and not on top of the screen? Absolutely not. Same with 4G vs 5G for me. No discernible difference in speed for "normal" usage. I'm sure if I was cloud gaming or torrenting a file I'd notice, but the average person isn't doing that.

Not specifically the first day, no. But in general during my period yes.

Wow, what a windfall, OP! You sure are fortunate! Don't go spending it all in one place now.
